I. At the Dawn of Time
Once the ice ages receded and the main human teams roamed the humid valleys from the Cantabrian Sea, the lands we now simply call Euskal Herria were being already a refuge. Within the caves of Santimamiñe, Ekain, Isturitz, and Aitzbitarte, anonymous fingers still left bison, horses, and symbols that still appear to resonate right now.
They have been hunter-gatherer peoples, tailored to rugged mountains, swift rivers, and coasts rich in fish.
